Willy Gnonto opened the scoring with a stunning shot from outside the box, assisted by Junior Firpo. Largie Ramazani set up Jayden Bogle for the second goal in the second half. Joel Piroe, coming off the bench, sealed the win with a goal off Gnonto’s pass.
Piroe celebrated his goal on Instagram, with Gnonto praising his teammate’s finishing abilities. Despite debate over Piroe and Mateo Joseph’s roles in the team, Farke seems to have found the right balance, with both players contributing effectively to Leeds’ success. Piroe’s impact off the bench is crucial, and starting games may not be the best strategy to maximize his performance.
