Despite praising Brendan Rodgers’ team and acknowledging their potential for an upset, McCoist was keen to point out the stark statistics of Celtic’s performances in Germany.
Some fans misunderstood McCoist’s remarks, believing he had forgotten about Rangers’ famous victory over Dortmund in the past. In response, McCoist clarified that his remarks were solely focused on Celtic’s recent struggles in Germany, not disregarding the achievements of other Scottish teams.
