SHOCKING FOOTAGE REVEALED: Peter Schmeichel’s awkward reaction is caught on camera after son Kasper concedes SEVEN goals in Celtic’s loss at Borussia Dortmund

TV cameras captured the agony on Peter Schmeichel’s face as his son Kasper endured a tough night, conceding seven goals as Celtic were crushed by Borussia Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund wasted no time taking the lead in the Champions League match, with Emre Can netting from the penalty spot after Jamie Gittens was fouled by Kasper Schmeichel.

Despite Celtic pulling one back through Daizen Maeda, Borussia Dortmund quickly regained the lead with Karim Adeyemi scoring a hat-trick in the first half.

Things went from bad to worse for Celtic as Serhou Guirassy converted a penalty before the break and Dortmund continued to dominate in the second half with more goals from Guirassy and Felix Nmecha.

Peter Schmeichel was visibly frustrated as he watched the game unfold, but he commended his son’s efforts in making several saves to prevent an even bigger defeat.

Reflecting on the match, Peter Schmeichel expressed his support for Kasper and encouraged him to move on from the tough result, emphasizing the importance of being a leader in the dressing room.

Kasper Schmeichel joined Celtic this season after spells at Nice and Anderlecht, following his departure from Leicester City in 2022 after a successful 11-year tenure.
