After a string of violent assaults took place at Celtic Park on the 1st of September during a match against rivals Rangers, the police have initiated a thorough investigation into the incidents that unfolded while only home supporters were in attendance. In an effort to find those responsible, the authorities have released CCTV images of three individuals they are urgently seeking to speak to in connection with the attacks.
The first individual in question is described as a white male with shaved hair, sporting black sunglasses, and dressed in a black top. The second suspect is also a white male with short dark hair, seen wearing a black jumper at the time of the assaults. Lastly, the third individual is described as a white male with short dark hair, donning a dark green Celtic top during the match.
Constable Mark Barr, representing the Greater Glasgow Football Enquiry Unit, has stressed the importance of these individuals coming forward or anyone who may possess information regarding their identities to get in touch with the authorities. The investigation is ongoing, and any assistance from the public is crucial in bringing those responsible to justice and ensuring the safety of all fans attending future matches at Celtic Park.
