Wolves are currently stuck in a difficult situation under Gary O’Neil’s leadership. The team has not won any of their first seven Premier League games this season, losing six of them and finding themselves at the bottom of the table.

Recent reports suggest that he is considering reverting back to the three central defenders and wing-back formation that worked well for Wolves last season, rather than the 4-1-4-1 setup they have been using this season.
The addition of Jorgen Strand Larsen has given O’Neil more options upfront, making a formation change a possibility for the team. With more favorable fixtures on the horizon, this tactical switch could be the key to getting Wolves back on track after a difficult start to the season.
