Oli McBurnie recently reached out to former teammate Jayden Bogle following his impressive performance for Leeds United in a 2-0 victory over QPR. The 24-year-old scored his second goal of the Championship season, contributing to Daniel Farke’s team’s win at Elland Road on 9 November.
Despite missing only one league game due to suspension, Bogle has managed to make the right-back position his own since joining from Sheffield United in the summer. In response to Bogle’s Instagram post, McBurnie left three clapping emojis and Pascal Struijk wrote, “Shin for the win.”
Bogle’s success on the pitch is a positive sign for Leeds as they head into the international break just two points behind league leaders Sunderland. Farke will be pleased with the team’s response to their previous defeat against Millwall and the solidifying of Bogle’s position in the starting XI.
