The Japan international managed to score a goal in the 1-1 draw but was visibly in pain after a clash with Tyler Dibling from Southampton.
As the Premier League enters a bustling period, Brighton is set to face Fulham at Craven Cottage and manager Fabian Hurzeler is hopeful that Mitoma will be fit to play. However, the 27-year-old’s status remains uncertain.
Hurzeler also mentioned that Yasin Ayari, who also sustained an injury in the game against Southampton, is not expected to be out for an extended period. Additionally, Joel Veltman, Ferdi Kadioglu, and Jack Hinshelwood are all doubtful for the upcoming match.
