UNBELIEVABLE! National media explosive reaction and goes crazy over 8/10 Celtic player after what he did v Dinamo Zagreb

Celtic continued their impressive unbeaten streak in the Champions League, holding Dinamo Zagreb to a scoreless draw. With nine points accumulated, a victory against Young Boys at Parkhead in their next match could secure their spot in the knockout rounds.

Although a win over Zagreb would have guaranteed progression, Celtic once again struggled to secure a victory away from Celtic Park. The last time they won an away game in this competition was seven years ago under Brendan Rodgers.

Despite their lack of attacking prowess, Celtic’s defense remained solid, with standout performances from Kasper Schmeichel, Paulo Bernardo, and especially Auston Trusty. Trusty’s bravery and strong defensive display earned him high praise, with an 8/10 rating from the Daily Record.

Since his transfer from Sheffield United in 2024, Trusty has cemented himself as a key player under Rodgers. His impressive stats, including winning headers, tackles, and maintaining a high passing accuracy, showcase his importance to the team.

While Celtic’s defensive strength was evident, their inability to create clear-cut chances upfront was a source of frustration. Nevertheless, securing a draw against a tough opponent like Zagreb was considered a positive result for the club.
