DON Cowie voiced his frustration and disappointment following Ross County’s defeat to Celtic by three goals. The final scoreline in the William Hill Premiership match at the Global Energy Stadium was deemed “harsh” by Cowie, who believed his players did not deserve such a heavy loss. Despite being level with Celtic for a significant portion of the game, the Highland club conceded late goals that ultimately sealed the victory for their Glasgow rivals.
One of the key moments in the match came when Jordan White scored an equalizer for Ross County, canceling out Kyogo Furuhashi’s opening goal. However, Furuhashi went on to score a second goal, and Arne Engels converted a penalty, with goalkeeper Jordan Amissah being accused of moving off his line. Luke McCowan then added another goal in injury time, securing Celtic’s win.
Cowie commended his players for their efforts and for trying to make it as difficult as possible for Celtic.
