“Wrong choice of pass, poorly executed one at that” Daniel Farke fumes as he loses his cool with Leeds United player following controversial incident during match, according to reports from a journalist at the Yorkshire Evening Post.

During the Leeds United victory over Norwich City, Daniel Farke was seen losing his cool with Joe Rothwell on Wednesday night.

At Elland Road on 22 January, the Whites claimed a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Manor Solomon and Dan James.

Despite the victory, Farke was not pleased with Rothwell’s performance, particularly with his decision-making and execution of passes after just 30 minutes of play.

According to Graham Smyth, the German coach was seen “going mad at Rothwell for his poor pass selection and execution.”

As the game progressed, Rothwell’s actions only seemed to infuriate Farke more. In the second half, he received a yellow card after diving in search of a penalty.

Rothwell’s poor choices ultimately led to him being substituted for Josuha Guilovogui later in the match, leaving Farke clearly disappointed with his player’s conduct.

Although Leeds may not have played their best game, the three points earned pushed them back to the top of the Championship table. Despite areas for improvement, the ability to secure a comfortable win while not at their best was a positive for the team.
