Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner had high praise for Ipswich Town following his team’s hard-fought 1-0 victory at Selhurst Park. Despite the loss, Glasner acknowledged that Ipswich has not been getting the results they deserve this season in the Premier League.

Reflecting on the match, Glasner commented, “It was a tough game – a game how we expected it. Ipswich made it difficult for us, and they make it difficult for any opposition in the league. I think they haven’t got the results maybe they’ve deserved in the last weeks.” He highlighted Ipswich’s strong defensive display that posed a challenge for his side, but ultimately, it was Palace’s perseverance that secured the win with Ismaila Sarr’s late goal.

Following their fourth consecutive victory, Palace climbed to 11th place in the table, showcasing their consistency and resilience in recent matches. On the other hand, Ipswich’s struggle continues as they slip further behind in the relegation battle and now sit six points adrift of Wolves. However, Glasner remains optimistic about his team’s performance and results in the remaining fixtures of the season, emphasizing the importance of patience and perseverance in the face of challenges.

As Palace looks to build on their recent success, Glasner and his team are focused on maintaining their winning streak and solidifying their position in the league. Meanwhile, Ipswich will need to regroup and fight harder to secure the results that they believe they rightfully deserve in their quest to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
