‘Not the best sign’: Wolves star told Vitor Pereira did something ‘pretty damning’ vs Leicester

Wolves secured a convincing 3-0 win over Leicester City, marking their sixth consecutive victory and lifting them to 13th in the Premier League. However, the win may have come at a cost for one player, as Hwang Hee-chan was an unused substitute, sparking concerns about his future at the club.

Hwang, who was a key player for Wolves last season, has struggled to find form and fit under Vitor Pereira’s system. The South Korean forward has only played 23 minutes since February, and his lack of playing time has raised questions about his future at Molineux.

Wolves expert Liam Keen believes Hwang’s omission from the matchday squad against Leicester is a “damning indictment” of his prospects at the club. Keen notes that Hwang’s playing style doesn’t fit Pereira’s system, which favors two number 10s behind a striker.

With in-form teammates Jorgen Strand Larsen and Matheus Cunha holding down key positions, Hwang faces significant competition to break back into the team. His future at Wolves remains uncertain, and the club will need to consider their options regarding the talented forward.
