Brutally ‘Fuming’ Celtic star warned ‘shaking his head’ at Brendan Rodgers could risk Scottish Cup final starting berth

Celtic closed out their season in the Scottish Premiership last Saturday with a thrilling match against St Mirren on Trophy Day.

Despite trailing 1-0 in stoppage time, James Forrest came to the rescue with an equalizer, providing a fairytale ending to the game. This marked Forrest’s 16th consecutive season scoring for Celtic, following closely on the heels of his achievement as the most decorated player in the club’s history just weeks prior.

Forrest’s crucial goal came after he replaced Nicolas Kuhn in the 54th minute, with Kuhn failing to impress on the day despite his recent good form. Reports suggest that Kuhn was unhappy with being substituted, with some speculating tension between the player and manager Brendan Rodgers.

Paul Slane, a former Celtic player turned pundit, suggested that Kuhn’s frustration could impact Rodgers’ decision on the starting XI for the upcoming Scottish Cup final. Chris Sutton is unsure whether Kuhn should start the final given his performance against St Mirren, as opposed to Forrest’s recent impact in matches against Aberdeen and St Mirren.

With Adam Idah also in contention for a starting spot, Rodgers faces a tough decision as he prepares for the season’s final showdown at Hampden.
