Finally, DOUBE DONE DEAL-MEDICAL BOOKED: Leeds United’s XI as Jaka Bijol and Habib Diarra join this summer, £25m star to be dropped.

Leeds United appears to finally be making moves in the transfer market after a summer of speculation without action. Reports suggest that Udinese’s Jaka Bijol could be heading to Elland Road, with Leeds set to meet the Italian club’s asking price for the 26-year-old midfielder who has an impressive international and club record.

Additionally, Leeds have made a £21.9m bid for Habib Diarra of Strasbourg. Diarra, a young talent at 21 years old, had a successful season under Liam Rosenior and could become Leeds’ sixth most expensive signing. With these potential signings, Leeds could be spending around £40m to strengthen key positions in their squad.

If both Bijol and Diarra join Leeds, it could mean changes to the starting XI. Bijol would likely slot in at centre-back, while Diarra’s arrival might lead to a shift in midfield formation for defensive stability. There could be further changes in the squad as other players may depart or be brought in, including a new goalkeeper and possibly a striker.

The potential arrival of Bijol could see Pascal Struijk being dropped from the starting lineup, with reports suggesting he may even be sold by the club. Brenden Aaronson is another player who could face the axe, with Leeds looking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season. Manager Daniel Farke will have some tough decisions to make regarding the squad, but ultimately the aim is to improve the team and compete at a high level.
