Braga Eyes Celtic Defender Lagerbielke
Portuguese club Braga is reportedly interested in signing Celtic defender Gustaf Lagerbielke this summer. According to O Jogo, Braga has made an offer worth €2m for the 25-year-old Swede, who recently returned to Celtic after a loan spell at FC Twente.

Defensive Reinforcement
Braga is looking to strengthen its defense, and Lagerbielke’s skills and abilities have caught the attention of the club’s scouting department. Braga’s president, António Salvador, is in negotiations with Celtic, and the club believes Lagerbielke’s game-reading skills, technical ability, and aerial prowess make him an attractive signing.
Competition for Lagerbielke’s Signature
Twente, who had Lagerbielke on loan last season, may also be interested in signing him permanently. To outdo Braga, they would need to improve on the €2m offer. Lagerbielke’s current market value is estimated to be around €3m, according to Transfermarkt, which might lead Celtic to push for a better deal in negotiations.

Potential Departure
Lagerbielke’s future at Celtic is uncertain, and the club will need to decide whether to accept Braga’s offer or hold onto the player. With several defenders in Braga’s squad having potential suitors, the Portuguese club is looking to secure Lagerbielke as a backup plan in case of departures.
