PERMANENT DEAL CONFIRMED “here we go” Sunderland holding talks to land Granit Xhaka.

Sunderland, newly promoted to Premier League, are making big moves to solidify their position in the top tier by entering the race for Granit Xhaka from Bayer Leverkusen.

Despite losing Tommy Watson to Brighton and Jobe Bellingham to Borussia Dortmund early in the transfer window, the Black Cats have made significant additions to their squad. Enzo Le Fee’s deal was made permanent, and players like Habib Diarra, Chemsdine Talbi, Reinildo, Noah Sadiki, and Simon Adingra have been signed to strengthen the team.

Now, Sunderland is eyeing some experience in their midfield, with Xhaka emerging as a potential target. Kyril Louis-Dreyfus is reportedly in talks with Bayer Leverkusen for a potential €10m deal for the midfielder, who had a successful spell at Arsenal before moving to Leverkusen.

Despite interest from Saudi Arabian club Neom, Sunderland has offered a three-year deal to Xhaka. It remains to be seen where the 32-year-old midfielder will ultimately decide to go, but convincing him to join a team aiming to fight for Premier League survival next season may prove to be a challenge.
