SAD EXIT: Simon Adingra tipped to leave Sunderland quickly following £24m summer transfer from Brighton

Sunderland’s recent acquisition, Simon Adingra, has quickly settled into life at the club after making a surprise £24 million move from Brighton in the summer. The 23-year-old winger has already started two Premier League matches for Sunderland and provided an assist in their 3-0 win over West Ham. Journalist Adama Magate believes that if Adingra continues to impress and fulfill his potential at Sunderland, he may not stay at the club for long. Magate sees Adingra as a key player for the Ivory Coast national team in the future.

In other Sunderland-related news, Luke O’Nien is making good progress in his recovery from a shoulder injury sustained during the play-off final win over Sheffield United. O’Nien was spotted back in training this week, and he could provide valuable versatility to the team once fully fit. New signings such as Lutsharel Geertruida and Brian Brobbey have also joined training for the first time since their arrivals, with the possibility of making their debuts soon. However, Bertrand Traoré, another new signing, faces a race against time to feature for Sunderland as he is currently on international duty and limited preparation time to integrate into the squad upon his return.
