Leeds United star Jayden Bogle has offered a succinct two-word assessment of Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth and emphasized the need for unity in Whites’ action.
Facing a tough challenge against Bournemouth’s talented Antoine Semenyo, Bogle showcased his skills on the pitch during the weekend clash. After missed opportunities by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Bournemouth took the lead through Semenyo’s well-struck free-kick in the 26th minute.
However, Leeds bounced back with Joe Rodon’s headed goal from a Sean Longstaff corner, followed by Longstaff’s own goal, putting the Whites in the lead. Despite a strong performance that appeared to secure a victory, a late equalizer from Eli Kroupi dashed those hopes and forced the match to end in a draw.
Reflecting on the game on Instagram, Bogle expressed that Leeds deserved a win and highlighted the importance of maintaining unity and character during their Premier League campaign.
