Following his standout performances, Anderson earned his England debut under Thomas Tuchel’s leadership, impressing with his displays against Andorra and Serbia.
It is understood that Nottingham Forest is likely to demand a hefty fee for Anderson’s services in order to deter interest from other clubs, with a potential price tag of around £70 million when the transfer window reopens in January.
As a result, it appears that Forest will hold onto Anderson until the end of the season, sparking speculation that there could be a fierce battle for his signature come summer.
In addition to Newcastle, Manchester United is rumored to be interested in the midfielder as they seek to address their midfield issues. After failing in their pursuit of Carlos Baleba from Brighton, the Red Devils may turn their attention to Anderson as their primary target.
