While there are still legal details to be sorted out and paperwork to be signed, Dyche could be officially announced as the new manager as early as Monday.

However, the club’s financial constraints, particularly concerning compensation for multiple managerial changes in a season, made options like Dyche, Mancini, and potentially Silva more appealing.
Marinakis sees this appointment as crucial to stabilize the club, boost morale among players and fans, and secure Premier League survival. One of the key expectations from the new manager is to maximize the significant investment made in the squad over the summer transfer window. Forest spent over £180m on new signings, but a significant portion of that talent was left out of the squad for the Chelsea game, leading to disagreements with Postecoglou.
