Nuno Espirito Santo has made it clear that Lucas Paqueta will make a swift return to the starting line-up for West Ham following his one-match suspension for a red card received in the previous game.
The 28-year-old midfielder was absent in Thursday’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United after being shown two yellow cards for dissent during the 2-0 defeat to Liverpool last weekend.
After the disciplinary action, Paqueta took the opportunity to apologize to his teammates and coach Nuno for his actions that led to his suspension. He is now set to resume his role in the team for the upcoming match against Brighton, with Nuno confirming that Paqueta will play from the start.
When asked about any concerns regarding the incident during the Liverpool game, Nuno stated that they have already addressed the issue and are looking ahead. He expressed positivity that Paqueta has learned from his mistake and that such behavior will not happen again.
