Nottingham Forest is gearing up to officially make a complaint to the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) after their disappointment with the failure to send off James Tarkowski in Everton’s 3-0 victory. Despite this clear victory, Nottingham Forest is adamant that the game could have taken a different turn had Tarkowski been penalized for an off-the-ball incident. The Forest management is reportedly seething over the decision and is now planning to request an explanation from the relevant authorities.
In the 11th minute, a collision occurred between Tarkowski and Dan Ndoye. Both the referee and the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) did not intervene in the incident. Nonetheless, Forest contends that Tarkowski’s actions were violent and should have warranted a red card.
In an unexpected turn of events, Sean Dyche, who faced Everton for the first time since being sacked, expressed his confusion about the lack of action taken against Tarkowski.
