MULTIPLE DONE DEAL: Leeds want multiple January signings as Daniel Farke’s transfer priority is revealed by Sky Sports

Recent developments at Elland Road have opened the door for Leeds United to make multiple signings in the upcoming transfer window. Despite facing speculation about his future, Daniel Farke is now set to receive reinforcements in the New Year.

Leeds’ recent run of form, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin impressing up front, has highlighted the need for additional attacking options. Changes in the defensive lineup have also prompted the club to consider signing a new centre-back to bolster their squad.

Sky Sports reports that Farke’s priority is to bring in a forward, although a defender could also be on the agenda. The switch to a 3-5-2 formation has emphasized the need for more central-defensive options, especially after Joe Rodon’s injury setback.

Sebastiaan Bornauw, previously linked with a move away, is now being considered to cover for Rodon’s absence, with Ethan Ampadu and other makeshift options also available. While Danilho Doekhi was looked at from Union Berlin, a potential move has not progressed at this stage.

Farke’s turnaround of Leeds has been impressive, securing his position as head coach and paving the way for new signings to strengthen the squad. However, he faces a crucial period ahead, with the need to maintain the team’s positive momentum to secure his future at the club.

The arrival of additional players could further enhance Leeds’ squad, providing support for Calvert-Lewin and fortifying the team against potential setbacks. As Farke navigates through a critical phase in his tenure, continued success will be vital to solidifying his position and achieving the team’s goals.
