MEDICAL BOOKED TODAY-Monday medical – Nottingham Forest transfer ‘not in jeopardy’ despite Dyche decision

Eintracht Frankfurt is in the process of securing a deal for Arnaud Kalimuendo of Nottingham Forest in the upcoming winter transfer window.

According to reports from Bild on New Year’s Eve, the German club has made significant progress in negotiations with the player’s agent. Further discussions are set to take place between their sporting director, Markus Krösche, and Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.

Recent reports from Frankfurter Rundschau have shown Eintracht Frankfurt’s confidence in finalizing the loan deal last week.

Despite still being with Nottingham Forest, Kalimuendo played in their recent 3-1 loss to Aston Villa. Manager Sean Dyche gave him playing time in the 83rd minute of the match.

Sky Deutschland has confirmed that the deal for Kalimundo to join Eintracht Frankfurt on loan for a fee of €1.5m, with a purchase option of €27m, is proceeding as planned. The player is expected to undergo medical tests with the German club today.

Both Bild and Sky have reported that the 23-year-old will join Eintracht Frankfurt on loan until the end of the season for a fee of €1.5m, with an option to buy for €27m.

The deal to bring Kalimundo to Germany has been finalized, with a medical appointment scheduled for Monday, according to Bild.
