According to Gianluca di Marzio’s report on Thursday, Nottingham Forest have shown interest in Inter Milan’s Davide Frattesi, indicating their pursuit of midfield reinforcements. However, it appears that Frattesi is not the only midfielder on Sean Dyche’s radar, as LaLazioSiamoNoi has revealed Nottingham Forest’s interest in Lazio’s Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who may be available for a transfer in January.
Nottingham Forest have reportedly initiated discussions for Dele-Bashiru, a Nigerian player who has faced injury setbacks this season. Despite returning to full fitness, he was then called up to represent Nigeria at AFCON, where he has featured in three matches for his national team. This sequence of events has posed challenges for Lazio, given the player’s absence due to international duty.
Lazio is said to value Dele-Bashiru at €15 million plus add-ons but Nottingham Forest’s pursuit of the midfielder may be hindered by financial fair play regulations. While a loan deal could be a more viable option for Forest, it may not align with Lazio’s objectives and preferences.
