Eddie Howe has moved to calm growing speculation surrounding his future at Newcastle United, insisting there has been no fallout with CEO David Hopkinson despite recent comments that raised eyebrows among supporters.
Speaking ahead of Newcastle’s crucial clash with Crystal Palace, Howe made it clear that his focus remains firmly on the pitch, dismissing any suggestion of internal conflict at the club.
“For me, nothing has changed. I’m 100% committed to the job,” Howe stated.

The uncertainty began during the international break when Hopkinson gave a non-committal response regarding Howe’s long-term future, following a painful derby defeat. While he backed Howe in the short term, his refusal to fully endorse the manager sparked widespread speculation.

“There have certainly been no fallings out. I’ve got a very good relationship with David and Ross,” he explained.
