McElhone, who currently serves as the Head of Youth Development at Queens Park, previously held the role of Head of Sports Science at Celtic during Ange Postecoglou’s tenure in 2021. With over 20 years of experience at clubs like Celtic, Spurs, Hibs, and Queens Park, McElhone’s expertise could prove invaluable in Besiktas’ quest to reclaim the Turkish championship. Van Bronckhorst’s admiration for McElhone’s work speaks volumes about the impact he has had on the teams he has been a part of.
