SAD DEPARTURE “thank-you for everything but i… -Coventry City confirm O’Hare departure as midfielder pens farewell tribute to club- Leeds next destination?

Coventry City has officially announced the departure of midfielder Callum O’Hare, whose contract has expired. O’Hare, who played a key role in the team, decided not to stay at the Coventry Building Society Arena after his deal ended on June 30. The 26-year-old, who helped City reach the FA Cup semi-finals last season, leaves the club after scoring 18 goals in 142 appearances.

O’Hare initially joined the Sky Blues on loan from Aston Villa in the 2019/20 season and quickly became a beloved player among fans. Following City’s League One title win, he made a permanent move to the CBS Arena for the next season.

Despite injuries affecting his final two campaigns with the club, O’Hare expressed his gratitude on social media, thanking the fans for their support and the special bond they shared. In response, Coventry City thanked O’Hare for his contributions, acknowledging the unfortunate impact injuries had on his time with the team.
