Leeds United have once again added to their list of contract extensions, this time with the announcement that Joe Snowdon has agreed to another year with the club. In the past 24 hours, there has been a flurry of news regarding the future of the club’s youth players at Elland Road.
At just 20 years old, Snowdon was one of the players whose contract was set to expire on June 30. However, United made the decision to offer him an extension. A product of the Thorp Arch academy, Snowdon has proven himself as a key player for the under-21s.

Snowdon is the latest in a series of contract extensions, following Harry Christy’s announcement. Offers have also been made to Cody Drameh and Luca Thomas, with ongoing discussions with Liam Cooper.
Additionally, Reuben Lopata-White, Joe Richards, and Marley Wilson have all signed their first professional contracts, while Connor Douglas and Daniel Toulson have received professional offers this summer.
Leeds also confirmed the release of eleven players last month, including Charlie Allen, Luke Ayling, Lewis Bate, and more. The club’s focus remains on building a strong foundation for the future with their talented roster of young players.
