VERBAL AGREEMENT REACHED: Celtic have completed transfer Deal for Talented midfielder who cherish the club after long tussle.

Celtic close in on securing a key transfer target as negotiations on the fee have been finalized, reports journalist Barry Anderson. The team has made significant strides in the transfer market by signing goalkeepers Kasper Schmeichel and Viljami Sinisalo.

Manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on retaining midfielder Paulo Bernardo, who was on loan from Benfica last season. After discussions with Benfica, a fee of £3.3m has been agreed upon, with the Portuguese club also receiving 30% of any future sale.

While the terms have been verbally confirmed, the official paperwork for the transfer is still pending. However, it appears likely that Bernardo will be returning to Celtic for the upcoming season.

Having made a significant impact with 33 appearances, four goals, and three assists last season, Bernardo will surely aim to build upon those statistics in the upcoming campaign.
