Despite a convincing 4-1 victory over Hannover, Leeds is eager to reinforce their team by exploring talent in the German 2.Bundesliga. An initial bid of €4 million for Ljubicic was rebuffed by Koln, indicating the player’s potential departure as his contract is set to expire next summer.
Anticipated to make another offer for the Austrian international, who is currently part of Koln’s training camp in Austria, following his involvement in a friendly match against Swansea City. Additionally, it has been reported by YEP’s Joe Donnohue that Leeds’ recruitment team convened in Germany this week to discuss potential transfer targets, prominently featuring Ljubicic.
