VERBAL AGREEMENT REACHED “Medical Scheduled” -Celtic set to unveil “unbelievable” new signing right after Bernardo bombshell- DONE DEAL.

Celtic and Wolves are currently in discussions regarding a potential loan move for left-back Hugo Bueno, as reported by BBC Sport.

Although Celtic expressed interest in signing the Spanish Under-21 international back in January, they were unable to reach an agreement and Bueno remained at Molineux for the rest of the season.

However, Celtic is now making another attempt to secure Bueno’s services, as the player is eager for more playing time due to being behind Rayan Ait-Nouri in the pecking order.

The clubs are currently negotiating a season-long loan deal for the 21-year-old, but as things currently stand, no agreement has been reached.

Having made 49 appearances for Wolves since joining their academy in 2019, Bueno is currently on tour with the first team in the United States.

Considering Celtic’s recent successes in the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup, they are looking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season, particularly with a focus on Champions League aspirations.

If Bueno were to join, he would be expected to compete with Greg Taylor for the left-back position in the team managed by Brendan Rodgers.

Aside from Bueno, Celtic has made moves in the transfer market by bringing in Kasper Schmeichel as their new number one goalkeeper, and Viljami Sinisalo as his understudy. More signings are expected, with players like Adam Idah and Paulo Bernardo on the radar.

Additional targets for Celtic include Dara O’Shea and Michel-Ange Balikwisha, but their acquisitions could depend on the future of Matt O’Riley, who is also drawing interest from other clubs like Atalanta and Southampton.
