“Leeds should stay away, he is joining us” -Coventry City set to STEAL £3m deal from Hull City as Leeds United make stunning move for ex-Liverpool and Rangers sensation – football fans left in shock!

Coventry City have reportedly outmaneuvered Championship rivals Hull City in the race to secure the signature of West Bromwich Albion forward Brandon Thomas-Asante.

Hull City had initially made a successful £3m bid for the Ghana international, with hopes of finalizing the deal quickly. However, reports from Football Insider suggest that Coventry City have matched the offer and are set to complete the signing. Thomas-Asante is expected to undergo a medical at Coventry’s training ground and become Mark Robins’ fifth summer signing.

This news comes as a blow to West Brom, as Thomas-Asante played a key role in their Championship play-off push last season. Despite his impressive performance, West Brom fell short in the semi-finals against Southampton, ending their hopes of a return to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Hull City will now shift their focus to other transfer targets to fill the void left by Jaden Philogene and Liam Delap, who have departed for Aston Villa and Ipswich Town respectively.

In other transfer news, Leeds United are reportedly making moves to bring in former Liverpool and Rangers winger Ryan Kent from Fenerbahce. Talks are said to be ongoing, with Leeds offering around £2m for the 27-year-old. The Whites are also said to be interested in Norwich City midfielder Gabriel Sara, having reportedly tabled a £5m offer for the Brazilian playmaker. Kent and Sara are both attracting interest from other clubs as well, but Leeds are hopeful of securing their signatures.
