DONE DEAL-MEDICAL SCHEDULED: West Ham on the verge of SHATTERING transfer record with £21m signing – player already packs bags for London move!

Reports from L’Equipe suggest that West Ham United are edging closer to securing the signature of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Carlos Soler in the final days of the transfer window.

The Hammers have been extremely active in the transfer market, bringing in a host of new players to bolster their squad under manager Julen Lopetegui. Key signings such as Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Max Kilman have strengthened the defense, while Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug, and Luis Guilherme have added firepower to the frontline.

Despite already adding Guido Rodriguez to the midfield, Lopetegui is eager to bring in another midfielder before the window closes. Talks with PSG have reportedly been positive, bringing West Ham ‘closer’ to securing Soler’s services for a reported fee of £21m including bonuses.

Soler, who has already agreed to the move, was omitted from PSG’s squad for their upcoming match against Montpellier, indicating a potential transfer to the London Stadium. His technical abilities could prove crucial in Lopetegui’s possession-based system, providing the manager with more options in midfield.

As West Ham looks to strengthen their engine room, all eyes will be on whether they can complete the signing of Soler late in the transfer window. With important fixtures on the horizon, including a clash against Crystal Palace, Lopetegui will be looking to integrate his new signings and secure vital points in the Premier League.
