MEGA DONE DEAL: Celtic SHATTER transfer record with jaw-dropping £4m deal for Alvyn Sanches as bids soar for coveted Mikey Johnston!

Alvyn Sanches has once again caught the attention of Celtic as they search for reinforcements in the midfield, alongside their primary target Arne Engels.

After an initial offer for LAFC’s Mateusz Bogusz was rejected, Celtic have shifted their focus. Reports suggest that a deal is now back on the table as Brendan Rodgers aims to strengthen his squad with the funds earned from selling Matt O’Riley to Brighton.

The club recently turned down a £10 million offer from a French team for Reo Hatate, declaring him not for sale. The pursuit of Engels from Augsburg continues, with another bid of £10 million on the table, along with interest in Auston Trusty from Sheffield United.

Luke McCowan of Dundee and Lyon’s Mahamado Diawara are also options being considered by Celtic. They are also interested in adding a winger and striker before the transfer window closes on Friday.

Barcelona’s Alex Valle has arrived on a season-long loan, providing competition for left-back Greg Taylor. Celtic have reportedly received offers for Mikey Johnston from West Brom and Sheffield United.

With interest from Burnley as well, the Republic of Ireland international will have the opportunity to choose his next destination.
