Other notable midfielders who have graced the Molineux pitch include Matheus Nunes and Joao Moutinho, both representing their national team with pride. But perhaps the standout midfielder since their Premier League return has been Portugal international Ruben Neves.
After a successful six-year stint with Wolves, Neves made a lucrative move to Al-Hilal in 2023, leaving behind a significant impact on the club. Despite the loss, Wolves made a substantial profit from his transfer, given that they initially acquired him from FC Porto for a then-record fee.
