Striker shares shocking reason why he rejected Nottingham Forest and interest in Premier League

Nottingham Forest went to great lengths to secure a new striker during the summer transfer window, but unfortunately, they were left disappointed in their efforts to find competition for Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi.

Their top target, Santiago Gimenez, turned down Forest multiple times, while Eddie Nketiah opted for Crystal Palace after speaking with Oliver Glasner. Despite making inquiries for Omar Marmoush, a deal fell through on deadline day, and the Frankfurt striker has since excelled in the Bundesliga.

In a recent interview with Bild, Marmoush revealed that his decision to stay was influenced by his strong connection with the coaching staff and the club. However, he still dreams of playing in the Premier League and may consider a move in the future.

Although Forest may still have Marmoush on their radar, his high valuation by Frankfurt could make a potential transfer difficult. Nonetheless, the team’s solid start to the season may make them an attractive option for future signings.

At 25 years old, Marmoush could be a good fit for the Forest squad and their transfer strategy. It remains to be seen who the club will target next in their search for a new striker.
