‘This is Fosun’s fault! The club are a shambles – Furious Wolves fans on Brentford defeat

Wolves endured a disastrous defensive outing as they suffered their sixth defeat in seven Premier League games, with Brentford unleashing a goal-scoring spectacle in the first half that saw six goals hit the back of the net.

Nathan Collins, facing his former club, wasted no time in putting the Bees in front just over a minute into the game, sending an early blow to Wolves. However, Wolves quickly responded through Matheus Cunha’s equalizer, showing promise for a competitive game ahead.

The defensive lapses that have plagued Wolves this season once again haunted them as Mario Lemina brought down Collins in the box, conceding a penalty that Bryan Mbeumo calmly converted to give Brentford the lead once more.

Despite Jorgen Strand Larsen pulling Wolves back on level terms again, the defensive frailties continued, and Christian Norgaard capitalized on a further mistake to restore Brentford’s advantage before Ethan Pinnock extended their lead with a powerful header just before the halftime whistle sounded.

The second half saw Wolves struggle to impose themselves, with Fabio Carvalho adding salt to their wounds by slotting home Brentford’s fifth goal late in the game. A last-gasp consolation goal from Rayan Ait-Nouri did little to lift the spirits of the traveling fans, who voiced their disappointment as Wolves fell to a disheartening defeat.
