Sensational Double deal confirmed: Aston Villa poised to smash transfer record with audacious £18m double Celtic signing in January mega-deal!

Stiliyan Petrov, a former midfielder for both Aston Villa and Celtic, has suggested that the two clubs should engage in transfer dealings in January. He believes that Celtic pair Daizen Maeda and Kyogo Furuhashi would be great additions to the Villa squad.

Despite Villa’s success in both the Premier League and Champions League, Petrov feels that adding some extra firepower to the squad would be beneficial. Maeda and Kyogo have already made significant contributions to Celtic’s Scottish Premiership campaign this season, with four and five goals respectively in just seven matches.

Petrov highlighted Maeda’s speed, energy, and pressing ability, as well as Kyogo’s skill and goal-scoring prowess. He believes that both players would bring valuable attributes to Villa and could help the team in the upcoming busy period due to the Champions League’s new format.

While Maeda and Kyogo may not immediately break into Villa’s starting lineup, Petrov thinks that their presence would provide depth and competition in the squad. Both players have a combined transfer value of €21.5 million (£18 million), making them potentially affordable targets for Villa in the upcoming transfer window.
