‘Frustrating’: Noni Madueke shares what he found so hard about playing against Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest managed to secure a valuable draw against a strong Chelsea team at Stamford Bridge during the weekend.

Chris Wood scored for Forest, with Ally McCoist expressing his admiration for the Reds’ key player after the match. However, Noni Madueke quickly equalised for Chelsea, putting pressure on Forest.

Despite James Ward-Prowse being sent off, Forest stood their ground, with goalkeeper Matz Sels putting in a brilliant performance to keep the opposition at bay. Joe Hart credited Sels for earning Forest a point, although a late save by Robert Sanchez from Jota Silva nearly changed the outcome.

With 10 points from the first seven games, Forest have made a positive start to the season. Madueke, who scored a great goal against Forest, acknowledged the opposition’s resilience and defensive tactics.

Forest are showing a different level of performance now, impressing even critics like Andy Jacobs. The team’s unity and determination were evident in their match against Chelsea, proving that they can compete with the top teams. Nuno Espirito Santo is making his mark on the team, setting high expectations for the upcoming games.
