BREAKING: West Ham player makes shocking statement about exit links and hints at move to top rival club! You won’t believe what he said!

Earlier in the month, reports circulating from Italy suggested that AC Milan had set their sights on West Ham United’s Edson Álvarez as a potential transfer target. Rumors also suggested that West Ham might consider including the 26-year-old in a swap deal for Milan’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Álvarez, who is currently training with the Mexico national team for an upcoming friendly match against the United States, seized the opportunity to discuss the transfer speculations during an interview with TV Azteca Deportes. When questioned about the interest from Serie A side AC Milan, the midfielder chose not to dismiss the possibility of a move to the San Siro.

Rather than being discouraged by the transfer rumors, Álvarez explained that he sees them as a source of motivation to up his game. “When you’re in this environment, rumors are bound to surface, both for yourself and for us. I believe that being linked to other clubs is a sign that you’re doing something right, that they are keeping an eye on your progress,” he stated. “I use it to my advantage, to keep pushing myself to improve and boost my confidence.”

Having signed a contract with West Ham that lasts until 2028, Álvarez’s future remains in the hands of the Premier League club when it comes to negotiations. Since joining from Ajax in August 2023, Álvarez has made a total of 42 appearances last season and has already played seven games under manager Julen Lopetegui this season.
