Régis Le Bris has made a significant change to his lineup for Sunderland’s upcoming Championship clash against Luton Town. Alan Browne has been included in the starting XI, replacing Patrick Roberts from the team that secured a victory over Hull City.
It is expected that Chris Rigg will switch to the right side of the attack, with Browne joining Dan Neil and Jobe Bellingham in the midfield. Wilson Isidor retains his place up front after scoring the winning goal against Hull City, with Romaine Mundle on the left side.
The backline remains unchanged with Anthony Patterson in goal, Chris Mepham and Luke O’Nien in central defense, and Dennis Cirkin and Trai Hume as full-backs. Roberts and Adil Aouchiche are among the substitutes, while Zak Johnson and Leo Hjelde provide defensive cover on the bench.
Sunderland Starting XI: Patterson, Hume, Cirkin, Mepham, O’Nien, Browne, Neil, Jobe, Rigg, Mundle, Isidor
Sunderland Substitutes: Moore, Johnson, Hjelde, Roberts, Rusyn, Aouchiche, Aleksic, Connolly, Watson.
