“We’re not scared of Leeds, we’ve a better chance of winning the League” -Chris Wilder namedrops Leeds united with unbelievable Claims over what he saw happened after Sheffield United draw

Despite sitting at the top of the Championship table, Chris Wilder believes Leeds United are way ahead of Sheffield United. The Whites solidified their second-place position with a convincing 2-0 win over Derby County on 7 December, narrowing the gap between them and their Yorkshire rivals. Meanwhile, Daniel Farke’s men put on a strong performance against Derby and are looking to continue their winning streak against Middlesbrough on 10 December.

After a hard-fought 2-2 draw with West Brom on 8 December, Wilder couldn’t help but acknowledge Leeds’ superiority, stating, “Leeds are miles ahead of us.” Despite this, the Sheffield United manager remains focused on the improvement of his own team, emphasizing the need to continue to pick up points and progress collectively.

Leeds United have been in decent form recently, with four wins in their last five Championship games. However, there is a lingering feeling that there is more potential to be unleashed from the team, especially considering the significant financial investments made over the summer. While the sales of players such as Archie Gray and Crysencio Summerville brought in substantial funds, Farke was still backed in the transfer market.

If Leeds fail to secure at least a top-two finish by the end of the season, it raises doubts about Farke’s future as head coach. Since the beginning of the season, Leeds have been the front-runners to claim the championship title, and anything less would be considered a disappointment by fans and management alike. The pressure is on for Leeds to maintain their current momentum and fulfill the high expectations set for them in order to end the season as worthy champions.
