Disrespectful, Humiliating Troll: Rangers player mock and disrespect Celtic with immature social media post after derby win

Rangers’ lack of sportsmanship was evident at Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon following their victory in the derby match. The 3-2 loss for Celtic was a disappointing result in the Scottish Premiership. The Light Blues’ win, the first at Parkhead in years, highlighted the consequences of complacency.

Brendan Rodgers expressed frustration with his players’ performance and acknowledged the absence of captain Callum McGregor due to injury. However, the disrespectful behavior extended off the field as well.

Dujon Sterling, in a post on social media, insulted Celtic Park and celebrated Rangers’ victory in a crude manner. His lack of professionalism was a letdown, especially considering Celtic’s dominance in previous seasons.

Unfortunately, this behavior is not new for Rangers, as a similar incident occurred earlier in the season. The players’ actions, including Vaclav Cerny’s involvement in an incident with Celtic fans, were unnecessary and disgraceful.

It seems that this behavior coincided with Barry Ferguson’s interim coaching role, but regardless of the circumstances, professionalism and respect should always be maintained on and off the field.
