DEAL CONFIRMED: Premier League club ‘very interested’ in Wolves ace Hugo Bueno, he could replace their £45m star

Wolves defender Hugo Bueno’s future is set to be a key topic this summer. The Spaniard has impressed on loan at Feyenoord, making 26 appearances and playing over 1,600 minutes despite a couple of minor injuries.

According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Bournemouth is “very interested” in signing Bueno. This potential move would make sense given the speculation surrounding Bournemouth’s left-back Milos Kerkez, who is valued at £45 million and reportedly a target for Liverpool.

If Kerkez were to leave, Bournemouth might look to Bueno as a replacement. However, Wolves may not want to sell Bueno, who could potentially replace Rayan Ait-Nouri next season if the Algerian left-back departs.

Ait-Nouri has attracted interest, and a big sale is possible after five years at Wolves. With Joao Gomes signing a new contract, it’s increasingly likely that Ait-Nouri could leave, following Matheus Cunha’s potential exit. If so, Bueno might return to Molineux as his replacement.
