Reports suggest that Sunderland is eyeing a potential deal to sign FC Nantes striker Matthis Abline in the upcoming transfer window. The Black Cats have been active in the market since their promotion to the Premier League, already securing a permanent deal for Enzo Le Fée earlier in the window.
Sunderland faces competition from Burnley and Brentford for the 22-year-old’s signature, as well as interest from Marseille. Although Marseille has made an offer, they are hesitant to meet Nantes’ asking price, potentially opening the door for a move to England.
In addition to Abline, Sunderland is also reportedly interested in Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb. The 21-year-old has struggled with injuries but has caught the eye of several Premier League clubs, including Sunderland, Newcastle United, and Nottingham Forest.
