DONE DEAL ‘Agreement in place’: Nottingham Forest will sign Murillo 2.0 after Club World Cup.

Before the new season kicks off, Nottingham Forest are actively seeking new players to enhance their squad.

After the Club World Cup, striker Igor Jesus is expected to join Forest, providing competition for Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi in the team.

The club will be competing in the UEFA Conference League for the first time in 30 years, and manager Nuno Espirito Santo is keen to ensure his squad is well-equipped for the challenge.

Various areas of the team require strengthening, and it appears that signings will start to materialize after the Club World Cup.

In addition to Jesus, Forest have secured an agreement with Jair Cunha from Botafogo. The young defender is set to join his teammate at the City Ground after the tournament.

Cunha, who stands at an impressive 6ft 6in, is seen as a player with potential resale value for Forest. With defensive departures expected, he could provide valuable depth to the squad.

As the club prepares to compete in multiple competitions next season, Cunha is poised to seize opportunities to showcase his abilities on the pitch.
