GOOD NEWS: Talented player to make appearance for Leicester in clash against Millwall

Enzo Maresca has stayed true to his promise and made significant changes for Leicester City’s FA Cup third-round match against Millwall. Teenage defender Ben Nelson is set to make his first start for the club, alongside Wanya Marcal, Jakub Stolarczyk, and Marc Albrighton.

Maresca, having previously announced his intention to shake up the squad to give players a break and provide opportunities to others, has followed through on his word. This sees Marcal start for the first time since August, Stolarczyk and Albrighton making their first starts since September, and Callum Doyle making a return to the starting lineup following a serious knee injury.

Conor Coady and Hamza Choudhury are also included in the lineup, while Ricardo Pereira, Yunus Akgun, Cesare Casadei, and Tom Cannon are maintaining their places from the previous match.

In goal, Stolarczyk is aiming to build on his impressive start for the team, while Nelson, Coady, and Doyle form the defense. Choudhury, Yunus, and Casadei will control the midfield, with Albrighton and Cannon providing attacking threat along with Marcal.

The substitutes’ bench includes the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Stephy Mavididi, and Abdul Fatawu, with Tawanda Maswanhise hoping to make his debut appearance from the bench.
