MEDICAL SCHEDULED: Coventry City player on verge of exit – Medical later today

Last season, Luis Binks appeared in 25 matches for Coventry City, but as the campaign progressed, the 23-year-old’s playing time decreased. Despite having a contract with the Championship club until 2028, it seems unlikely that he will see out the full term.

Binks’ career has taken some unexpected turns, starting in Tottenham Hotspur’s academy before moving to Montreal Impact, then Bologna, and eventually landing at Coventry City where he made his stay permanent last year after a series of loan spells.

Now, Binks is reportedly on the brink of a move to Denmark, with Tipsbladet reporting that only a medical exam and signing stand between him and becoming a Brøndby player. He is seen as a replacement for Jacob Rasmussen, who recently joined Red Bull Salzburg. The transfer fee for Binks is reported to be €3m, including bonuses.

A medical examination is scheduled for later today, signaling a potential new chapter in Binks’ unique career journey.
