SHOCKING FOOTAGE EXPOSES TRUTH- Former FIFA referee delivers UNBELIEVABLE verdict on Rangers striker Bojan Miovski’s Celtic penalty claim

The goalless draw between Celtic and Rangers proceeded without much controversy, with VAR only really coming into play for a penalty claim involving Celtic defender Liam Scales and Rangers striker Bojan Miovski.

Despite initial calls for a penalty, both the on-field referee and VAR ruled against it after reviewing the incident. However, the belief persists among many that a spot kick was missed in the match.

Following the game, Miovski expressed his belief that he was fouled and should have been awarded a penalty. Yet, former FIFA referee Mark Clattenburg dismissed the claim, stating that Miovski had created the penalty shout rather than genuinely being fouled.

Clattenburg’s analysis suggested that Miovski intentionally sought contact with Scales to make it appear like a foul, but the referee correctly saw through the attempt and allowed play to continue.

Despite the brief controversy surrounding Miovski’s penalty claim, he struggled to make an impact on the match beyond that incident. With Celtic looking to bolster their squad in the remaining hours of the transfer window, they are particularly in search of a striker to replace Adam Idah, who is set to depart the club.
